Dr. Victor Tu, DDS

Dr. Victor Tu brings specialized gum care and implant expertise to Thakkar Dental. As a board-certified periodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, he provides comprehensive periodontal care in the convenience of our West Chester office—no outside referral needed.

Originally from San Francisco, Dr. Tu attended UCLA before earning his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He then completed specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery, along with a Master of Science in Oral Biology and Pathology, at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine.

With advanced training in soft tissue procedures and periodontal plastic surgery, Dr. Tu helps patients improve their gum health, restore their smiles, and feel more confident. He takes a personalized approach to care, tailoring treatment to each patient’s needs and goals.

Dr. Tu’s research has been published in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology and Biomaterials. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Northeastern Society of Periodontists, and the American Dental Association.

Outside the office, Dr. Tu enjoys football, exercise, traveling, trying new restaurants, and watching movies.
